I have come to the conclusion that public libraries serve little to no purpose. I spent the past two hours searching for a very important text and what did I get for my trouble? Nothing but a "Sorry, that book'll be out for the next three weeks." Three weeks? I don't have three weeks. I kindly asked the librarian if I might have the address of the person who's hoarding the books I need, but apparently that's against the law. Which is understandable, really, and as much as I'd like to be a law-abiding citizen, this is just torturous.
In other news, whoever ripped up my pamphlet on Education for Women & Young Girls and left the pieces in a pile on my doorstep, that was clever. Really. I can only hope that you read it before you decided to completely destroy it.

Owners of all establishments located in the south, southeast, and southwest parts of the slums should note that I have left a large stack of pamphlets on health & safety regulations on the front stoop. I have also provided you with a handy checklist so that you might make sure your establishment is up to code. Just trying to keep the people safe, really. It's my number one priority.
Ah, it feels good to be back.
